FIRETEX epoxy intumescent coatings deliver complete protection from the hazards of cryogenic liquified natural gas (LNG) spills on steel, with or without a subsequent hydrocarbon fire. FIRETEX M89/02 syntactic epoxy coating insulates the steel substrate so it maintains structural integrity on vessels, walkways or other support structures.
Having undergone extensive independent fire testing, assessment and certification by Lloyd's Register, Det Norske Veritas, ABS and UL, our FIRETEX® intumescent coatings effectively mitigate the effects of jet fires, pool fires, boiling liquid expanding vapor explosions (BLEVEs), and blasts - with fire protection for the specified hourly rate, up to four hours.
